Instead
of offering
confusing mounting methods, Ultradot kept it
simple. These red dots are available with either a 1" (25mm) or 30mm
tube.
They come with Weaver type rings and a removable rubber eye cone. A
removable extension (similar to a
sun shade) allows for mounting in other types of rings, such as on a
long action magnum rifle. A polarizing filter is included, which
attaches easily, and adjusts to block out just the right amount of
light. Windage and elevation adjustments are in 1/4 MOA (1/4" at 100
yards) clicks. An 11 point adjustable rheostat delivers the red dot
brightness you need for a given situation: more light for bright
backgrounds, and less light for darker conditions. A single CR123
battery operates the Ultradot's red dot and is included. Colors
available are satin silver, or matte black. Two reticle types are
available: either a fixed 4 MOA dot (covers a 4" diameter circle at 100
yards), or an adjustable reticle version that can dial up the dot size
from 4, 8, 12, or 16 MOA.
